The membership is free for humanitarian photographers, storytellers, videomakers, volunteers. Open to every professional who has our same values, the passion for the humanitarian field, the desire to share know-how, and expertise. True people with deep empathy for human rights and want to help worldwide organizations in need to document their causes.

Pro-Bono Framework & Logistics
Standard field missions are pro-bono (travel and visa expenses are covered by the photographer). Host NGOs can typically offer local support such as logistics, food, and housing; however, these specific arrangements are not automatic and must be discussed and agreed upon directly between the photographer and the NGO once a collaboration is initiated.
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
Role of the Organization: Photographers for a Cause is a non-profit networking initiative. It does not act as a travel agency, employer, or coordinator of field missions. Any agreement, logistics, or assignment framework is strictly and directly negotiated between the individual member and the host NGO.
Assumption of Risk: Travel and field documentation, especially in humanitarian or remote settings, involve inherent risks. Members are solely responsible for obtaining their own health insurance, travel insurance, appropriate visas, vaccines, and ensuring their own personal safety and equipment protection.
Release of Liability: Under no circumstances shall Photographers for a Cause, its founder, or its team be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, injuries, legal disputes, or losses resulting from field deployments, interactions with NGOs, or any activities undertaken as a member of this community.
